Comdec has been a trusted leader in contract printing since 1977.Our story began when Steve Meredith and Ken Harris — two passionate engineers and innovators — joined forces after years of experience in pad and screen printing. Together, they set out to simplify and modernize a process that was often seen as complex and mysterious.
Early in our journey, we introduced the revolutionary Self-Leveling Doctor Blade System, which dramatically reduced setup time and improved precision. This innovation marked the first of many milestones in our ongoing pursuit of efficiency and excellence.

Over the last three decades, Comdec has continuously evolved — embracing new technologies, from Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to servo controllers and advanced vision systems.We have also transitioned from traditional doctor blade systems to modern closed ink well systems, ensuring cleaner, more consistent results and greater reliability.
